Today the last wall of Santa Lucia Tunnel was shot down!

On June 12, 2020, the ceremony for the demolition of the last wall of the Santa Lucia Tunnel on the A1 Milan - Naples motorway, in the Barberino di Mugello - Florence North stretch, took place.

The excavation was carried out with a Tunnel Boring Machine with a diameter of about 16 meters, currently the largest in Europe.
