Main interventions: in executing the works to enlarge the third carriageway, the existing road foundation and works of art were used as much as possible in order to reduce the environmental and financial impact of the works.
The works executed include:

• enlargement of the Tevere river bridge -
• construction of the underpass for the Settebagni junction -
• new overpass.

The Castelnuovo di Porto junction was opened nine months early and the third carriageway six months ahead of the contractually established schedule.

Works to enlarge the third carriageway of the motorway section between the North Rome barrier and the Settebagni ramp; construction of the new Castelnuovo di Porto ramp.
