As regards the works on safety barriers (dividers and side edge), from 2009 to 2012, 18 contracts were completed, with business of approximately EUR 70 M and overall development of newly installed metal equipment of approximately 1,000 km. The works involve the entire motorway network. from north to south, and are distributed as follows:
