EXTREME RECYCLING OF ASPHALT DEDICATED WEBSITE ON-LINE

The website dedicated to the ERA – Extreme Recycling of Asphalt – Project realised by Pavimental in collaboration with the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering and Architecture (DICEA) of the Marche Polytechnic University is on-line.

The website, www.extremerecyclingofasphalt.com, is a collection in sections divided by topic and supplemented by technical documentation of a decade of research into the increase in the amount of milled material in bituminous mixtures and the simultaneous lowering of the packaging and rolling temperatures.

The project, based on the principles of sustainability and innovation, involved experimental initiatives (still ongoing) of international relevance, carried out in laboratories and on site, which have been much appreciated by the scientific community in the sector.

The link between the business and academic sectors has enables significant results to be achieved, favouring a productive exchange of skills and raising the level of knowledge in the sector of road building materials.
