Pavimental participates in Expo Ferroviaria 2021

On Thursday 30 September 2021, in Milan, Pavimental participated in the conference on “The industrialisation of construction and maintenance processes in underground infrastructures: design and use of innovative machinery and materials”, organised by Società Italiana Gallerie – SIG as part of the EXPO Ferroviaria 2021 event.

Claudio Ceccarelli, Technical Director for the South-East of Pavimental S.p.A., intervened as speaker on the topic of the structural refurbishing of existing tunnels with regard to the needs of the management companies in terms of the fluidity and safety of vehicle traffic.

Specifically, the intervention focused on the methods of scheduling, organising and carrying out maintenance work and making the existing infrastructures safe and secure. The latter are more frequent and consistent and therefore necessarily have a significant impact on the operation and management of the infrastructures. Pavimental has always been committed towards enhancing processes, searching for increasingly performant materials and carefully selecting machinery, guaranteeing to the management companies that the technical and executive choices made, which differ according to the peculiarities of the works to be carried out, and the interventions carried out focus completely on limiting possible inconveniences to the users.
